We are in the process of hiring highly qualified, experienced classroom teachers, assistant teachers and specialists.  Each Kindergarten and First and Second Grade class will have a teacher and a full time assistant teacher.  Second through Fifth Grade classes will have a part time assistant teacher.  Specialist teachers will teach Spanish, music, physical education, English Language (for speakers of other languages) and special needs.

Dr. Annette Keane - Principal

Annette Keane is the Principal at TECCS. Dr. Keane has several years of experience as a New York City public school teacher. She earned her M.Ed in Early Childhood Education from The City College of New York in 2004 and recently completed the PhD program in New York University’s Department of Teaching and Learning where she specialized in early literacy and urban education.

Nicole Osei - Director of School Culture

Nicole Osei has a B.A. in English at Barnard College, and M.S. W. in Social Work from Columbia University.  She was a Team Leader/Teacher with Teach for America in Baltimore, MD. She did an Internship at the Harlem Hospital Center in New York, and another as a School Counselor at Partnership with Children in New York City.  An MSW, she served as Clinical Supervisor at Wedico Children's Services in Windsor, New Hampshire.

Robert Holczer - Finance Director
Robert Holczer is a CPA with well over 20 years of experience in Public  Accounting,  He spent 10 years as a nonprofit audit manager at Lutz and Carr CPA’s , auditing a wide variety of nonprofit organizations. He then served as CFO of Poets House, a nonprofit organization in Lower Manhattan, for over 3 years.
Frances DeWindt - Operations Manager

Ms. DeWindt received her A.A.S. Degree in Paralegal Studies.  She has four years experience in Marketing Administration, she has worked in Corporate America as head of research and has also been head of her own research company.  Her background in Administrative Research will bring a different aspect and new ideas to our school.

Yesenia Roque - Office Assistant

Yesenia Roque is currently pursuing her B.A. in Human Services. She has three years experience in an office environment. She enjoys being around children and looks forward to further her career in education.

Jessica Higgins -  Assessment Coordinator

Jessica Higgins has a B.A. in Elementary Education from the University of Michigan and a Masters of Science in Literacy from Bank Street College of Education. She is certified in Early Childhood Education, Childhood Education, and Literacy. She is in her 7th year of teaching. She previously taught for 4 years at a public school in Brooklyn and another 2 years at Hyde Leadership Charter School in the Bronx.

Anastasia Allen - Behavior Specialist 

Anastasia Allen has ten years of experience working directly with children and adolescents in an educational setting. She has worked as a teaching assistant to grades K-8 and has coached boys' and girls' basketball teams in grades 5-8


Ms. Dominguez was born and raised in New York City. She is currently completing her Bachelor's Degree and planning to pursue a Master's Degree toward the goal of becoming a lead teacher. She attended a public grade school following charter school standards so she has always leaned towards working in charter schools. Of teaching, she says “The thing I love most about teaching would have to be when a child gets what it is that I am teaching them. When their eyes open up wide and the light bulb goes off, that makes my day every time.”

Lavern Paul is in her second year working as an Assistant Teacher in Kindergarten at TECCS. She has a B.A. in Psychology from Medgar Evers College and she intends to pursue a Masters in Education. She loves teaching and it has always been her ultimate aspiration. It's rewarding to be present in the moment and observe children learn through their successes, mistakes, practice, rewards and triumphs. Apart from teaching she enjoys fitness, traveling and dancing.

Giselle Ramoutar is a graduate from Brooklyn College with a BA in Childhood Education.  She is planning to attend Graduate School to earn her MS in Literacy.  Last year, she completed her student teaching at P.S. 24 in Sunset Park.  This gave her the opportunity to work at their afterschool program as well.  This is her first year at TECCS as a Teacher's Assistant.

Maurice Adams graduated from Kingsborough Community College and has earned an Associates Degree in Mental Health and Human Services.  He is currently attending Brooklyn College pursuing a degree in Psychology.  He enjoys teaching and educating children and has what seems to be a natural belonging in the educational field.  His passion and desire is to continue to educate and teach children to be ready for a productive life on every grade he teaches and to prepare them for the bigger world outside of the classroom.


Philip delaHoussaye loves traveling and books! He was born in New Orleans, Louisiana, and grew up with excellent teaching role models: his parents! He graduated from Saint Louis University in Missouri, and then traveled to a small town near Paris where he taught English as a second language. He later bid a fond au revoir to his family in France and left for New York City, where he has happily taught second grade for the last three years.

Ryan Mullally: a second grade teacher, earned his BA from New York University in the field of Philosophy, and his Masters in the Science of Teaching from Pace University.  He taught for 4 years at Achievement First East New York, and is in his first year at TECCS.  Besides his work in the classroom, he has taught basketball, yoga, and martial arts programs to Brooklyn youth since 2001.

Daniel Osborne has a B.F.A. in Graphic Design from S.U.N.Y on New Paltz, NY, an M.A. in Childhood Education from C.U.N.Y.  City College, along with certificates in Child Abuse and Violence Prevention.  He has taught at The Robert F. Wagner Jr. Public School, in Long Island City, and at P.S. 305 in Brooklyn, N.Y.

Marcia A. Saucedo has a B.A. of Education degree focused on early Childhood Education, and a M.Ed (Learning Disabilities and Reading) from DePaul University in Chicago.  She has taught basic Spanish skills to 1st Graders at All-Stars, Chicago Public Schools, and was a 1st Grade Teacher at Wentworth Elementary on Chicago's South Side.

Audilia DeAndrade has a Masters in Education and Bachelors of Arts in Psychology and Education from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.  She currently holds two teaching certificates from Massachusetts, Professional Teaching License for grades 1-6 and Initial License in Moderate Disability for grades K-8.  She has taught 2ndgrade for 6 years and then 3rd grade for one year at the Edward Everett Elementary, Boston Public School.  This year will be her first exciting year teaching 3rd grade at TECCS.

Elizabeth (Lizzy) Pond earned her BS in Inclusive Elementary and Special Education from Syracuse University.  Originally from the Boston area, Lizzy was a special education teacher at a Montessori charter school in Haverhill, MA, before making her move to the Big Apple. Lizzy also spent several summers teaching at the Carroll School in Lincoln, MA, where she was certified in Orton-Gillingham, a reading and spelling approach designed specifically for teaching children with language based learning differences. Outside the classroom, Lizzy enjoys traveling; she has spent a half-year living in Spain and has visited almost twenty countries! Closer to home, Lizzy is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Special Education/Behavior Disorders at Hunter College in Manhattan.

Kamara Morris earned her Bachelor’s of Arts in Psychology from Brooklyn College - CUNY in 2008. She was on the National Dean's List for two consecutive years. This is her second year at TECCS; she is currently working with one of our second grade classes as an Assistant Teacher. Aside from teaching, Kamara enjoys tennis and making jewelry.

Caitlin Corlett is a graduate of Roger William University with a BA in Secondary Education and History. Caitlin is currently pursuing a master's degree in General Education and Special Education at Touro College. She has worked for the YMCA running children’s' and family programming for several years, and has worked with students in the classroom and in after school programs.


Eric C. Gentry, our physical education teacher, earned his BS from the University of Oregon and MA from Oregon State University.  He has many years of experience serving schools in New Rochelle, NY, and Corvallis and Albany in Oregon.  In addition to class work, Eric has been Head Coach in Baseball, Basketball, Football, Volleyball, and Soccer.

Jean Pallister, our Special Education teacher, has a B.A. in English and Literature from the University of Chicago, and an M.S. in Childhood Education, concentrating on Special Education.  She has been a Special Education Support Services Provider, and Academic Intervention Support Provider at PS 205 Dr. Peter Ray School/Teach for America in Brooklyn, and Corps Member Advisor at the Teach for America Summer Institute in New York.

David Tuss, our music and ethics teacher, earned Summa Cum Laude status gaining his B.A. Music Education Degree at Ohio State University. He has taught children from pre-kindergarten through twelfth grade in Ohio and throughout Brooklyn. This is his second year as our music teacher and first as our ethics teacher. Primarily a classically trained violinist, he uses his expertise in music to foster musical discovery and engagement in our school.

Robin Weiss, our Art Teacher, holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Michigan and a MS-Art Education from LIU-CW Post. She has taught visual arts to students in kindergarten through twelfth grades in a variety of settings, including Manhasset Public Schools and Farmingdale Public Schools on Long Island, and several NYC public schools. She has owned and operated her own mural painting business for the last ten years and has a background in fashion and textile design. What Robin enjoys most about teaching art is witnessing her students develop their inner artists!

Jessica Kulesa has B.A. in Art History and Elementary Education from William Smith College and a M.A. in Children with Disabilities from Long Island University. She has taught Academic Intervention Services for the last 3 years in the Westhampton Beach School District.  Along with teaching, she is a very active person who participates in triathlons and half-marathons.

Michele Wellington has a B.A. in Psychology from Wesleyan University in Middletown, Connecticut and an M.A. in Urban Education from Wheelock College in Boston, Massachusetts. She taught first grade for two years in Boston Public Schools and another three years in first grade at P.S. 375 in Crown Heights, Brooklyn.
