Those students who are still learning English will have support from the ELL teacher.
Sometimes the ELL teacher will teach them in a small group and sometimes he or she will come to the classroom and support the English language learners during their regular lessons.
EL program:
The Program goals are:
a) Provide students with additional language support that augments the classroom instruction
b) Promote multicultural awareness
c) Provide quality instruction that will enable our students to demonstrate mastery of the higher standards in all of the core subjects
d) Incorporate the EL standards in all lessons so as to further develop skills in listening, speaking, reading and writing English
e) Encourage all Families to become active participants in their children’s education
