It’s time for our 2nd school wide community service drive of the school year! Our Can and Coat Drive brought in over 150 cans and 50 coats in December.
Here’s how your family can make this collection just as successful—
What: Pencil Drive—We will collect school supplies including pencils, pens, paper, art supplies, and new educational games and workbooks.
Penny Drive—We will collect pennies, nickels, dimes….whatever you can spare.
Who: School supplies will be donated to the Park Ave. Manor After-School program. The directors of the shelter on the corner of our block have asked for supplies to help with the larger group of children that they work with over the February break from school.
Pennies will be donated to Pennies for Patients, a national organization that supports childhood leukemia.
When: Monday, February 6th- Friday, February 17th
**We will celebrate our service project at Harambee on the 17th!**
