- Tuesday, November 3: Election Day – No School Tuesday
- November 10: Parent‐Teacher Conferences; Half Day of School (School closes at 12:00)
- Wednesday, November 11: Veteran’s Day – No School
- H1N1 Vaccinations: Forms due in the office Monday, October 26, 2009. Vaccinations will begin on Wednesday, October 28.
PGA: We held a very animated PGA meeting this morning. Tiffany Brown and Joan Hallett will serve as the co‐chairs of the PGA. A Thanksgiving, international pot‐luck event for families is being planning for November along with a Food Drive. Further information will be coming soon.
School Leadership Team: We are looking for two parent volunteers to serve on the School Leadership Team. This team will serve as an advisory committee to the principal and will consult about a variety of issues such as facilities use, new programs, and school culture. Members of the team may bring up items of concern to them. There will be teacher and parent representatives on the team. Meetings may be held during the day or after school. Please write or call Dr. Stengel or Ms. Osei if you are interested in being a part of this group.
Board of Trustees Parent member: The Board of Trustees is looking for a parent member. The PGA will provide three names and the Board will choose one of them. Let Dr. Stengel know if you are interested in being a Board member. Meetings are held once a month from 4:30 – 7:00 on a Thursday afternoon.Dr. Susan R. Stengel
