Important Dates:
- Wednesday, December 23, 2009 – Last day of school for the semester.
- Monday, January 4, 2010 – School resumes.
- Friday, January 15, 2010 at 8:30 – First FTA meeting of the year. The FTA will meet every third Friday at 8:30.
Snow Days: We will follow the public schools for snow days and other emergency days off.
Our emergency notification system will be activated in case of a snow day. You will receive a voice message on your phone. Please be sure to keep your telephone numbers up to date to make sure you don’t miss out on this important information.
Report Cards: Please sign and return your child’s report card. Please add any comments you might have in the Parent Comment section. At the end of the year we will give you a copy you can keep. Candles for Sale: A few candles are still available for sale in the office for $10 per pair.
Lost and Found: Please come to the office to check for lost hats, gloves and sweaters.
Shoes: Just a reminder that students can wear any shoes, but no lights or sounds on the shoes. It is very distracting for other friends and their teachers!
Dress Down Day: Wednesday, December 23rd is Dress Down Day. The friends do not have to wear their uniforms on Wednesday. They may wear jeans or anything they choose, as long as it is clean and neat. Teachers may wear jeans too!
This Week in Ethics: We are continuing our theme of cooperation. We are making shape designs collaboratively with a partner this time and then transfering our designs to a piece of paper.
