Important Dates:

  • Friday, December 18, 2009 – Last day of After School Activities for the Semester.
  • Wednesday, December 23, 2009 – Last day of school for the semester.

Report Cards: Your child’s report will be sent home on Friday in his or her backpack. Please call the office if you do not receive it. We ask that you sign the report card and send it back to school. Please contact your child’s teacher if you would like to schedule a conference.

Candles for Sale: Luke Gray (father of Jordan Gray) organized a candle sale. A friend of his, Ana Design, donated 50 pairs of candles. You can see what they look like at this web site: www.anadesigncorp.com. They are available for sale in the office for $10 per pair.

After School Activities: Friday is the last day for after school activities. The program will start up again on January 4, 2010. Please return the forms this week in order to reserve a place in our after school activities program for next semester. If we do not have a form for your child, he or she will not be able to start After School Activities on Monday, January 4, 2010. Next week we ask all parents to pick up children at 4:00. Children who are left after 4:15 will be sent to the 79th precinct (263 Tompkins Ave. at the corner of Greene Ave.) to wait there until they can be picked up. We cannot be responsible for your child’s safety at the school after the school day is over.

School Hours: Our school hours are 8:00 – 4:00. Every student is expected to arrive before 8:00 and stay until 4:00. Please do not ask for exceptions to the rule. The activities planned throughout the school day are important parts of your child’s education. Part of that education is learning how to fulfill our responsibilities. Arriving on time and staying for the entire school day are part of your child’s responsibilities. Please help us teach your child the importance of discipline regarding time.

Lost and Found: Please come to the office to check for lost hats, gloves and sweaters.
